that image processing has become a mainstay of Court evidence procedure. Organizations
are called upon frequently to create digital simulation for the Court. Although
digital processing is accepted for simulation,
digital processing on a tape to be used as evidence is not
because of the ease of altering.
OEI processing equipment produces court acceptable results using real time analog expansion of the dynamic of video information, simultaneously with digital noise reduction. This process does not change the original data, but improves quality and contrast, while eliminating random noise. This sharpens the edges, improving print quality. OEI recognizes that purchasing proper equipment to perform digital processing may not be an option for all parties.
