| The OEI Image Enhancement Unit is a self contained video tape enhancement system which operates without the use of a personal computer. The OEI Image Enhancement Unit takes typical poor, low-light level video signals and generates dramatically improved black and white level video signals for the operator to view. The resulting picture is transformed into dynamic black and white video, yielding previously non-discernible details. Ideal for law enforcement and security applications, it enhances the quality and detail of video tape recorded in poor lighting conditions ranging from low or near dark to back-lit situations. More importantly, because the enhancement process does not change the original material, it preserves the integrity and admissibility of the original tape and the processed images. |
